DURATION: 8 weeks, 8 hours ( TO BE RENEWED ON REQUEST)
MIN. 3 STUDENTS MAX 7 ( N.B. : Standard “small classes “ in Canada: 6-13 students)

Students who have completed Elementary A2-2

ADMISSION: Access to the Intermediate B1-1 course is allowed to those who:
1) Have attended Elementary course (A2-2) and passed the final test
2) Have been assigned to the Intermediate course (level B1-1), on the basis of a placement test.

I still have the previous book Nuovo Progetto Italiano /Nuovissimo Progetto Italiano , can I still attend this course?
A. Yes, you can. The New Italian Project is just the new updated edition and it’s the English version

COURSE DESCRIPTION

TEACHING METHOD:
Modern, inductive, communicative. You will be guided to develop your communication skills, as well as being introduced to Italian culture. You will also work on grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation, enabling you to use Italian in a wide range of situations.
Audio CD and a DVD Video included in the textbook.

CLASS DETAILS:
Small classes: min. 3 - max 5 students. Average: 4.

AT THE END OF INTERMEDIATE B1:

You can deal with most situations likely to arise whilst travelling in an area where the language is spoken. You can understand most of the conversations on topics that are familiar, or of personal interest. You can understand the main points of clear standard speech on familiar matters: work, school, leisure, etc. You can narrate a story or relate the plot of a book or film and describe your reactions. You can understand the main points of many radio- tv programmes on current affairs.
