MEANING OF VITALIANA

Vitaliana is the fusion of two words: “Vita” (Life) and Italiana. “Italian Life” as a natural and healthy style of living. The name Vitaliana comes from latin meaning: “Full of life”.

Possibly also a variant of the Sanskrit – the Mother of all European Languages – meaning “wise”.

Vitaliana is also a one-species genus in the primula family native to the Alps and Pyrenees and named after the Italian botanist, Vonati Vitaliano (1717-1762), from Padova (Veneto).

The name “Vitaliano” is widespread throughout Italy, especially in Sardinia and in the province of Naples.

The nickname, Vitalis comes from the Latin meaning eternal life
